Child car seat safety in British Columbia
BC's Motor Vehicle Act requires children to ride in an approved car seat or booster until they're big enough for a regular seatbelt alone (the current threshold is roughly 4'9" / 145 cm or 9 years old, whichever comes first). Every Snow Peak BC vehicle carries approved infant and booster seats, installed by the driver before pickup.

Is there an extra charge for the car seat or booster?
No. It's included at no cost on either of our two airport transfers (to Vancouver or to Whistler). Just tell us your child's age or weight when booking.
Do I need to bring my own car seat?
No. Our vehicles carry approved car seats and booster seats for a range of ages. If your child is more comfortable in their own seat, you're welcome to bring it instead.
How many car seats can you fit per vehicle?
It depends on your group size and the vehicle assigned. Tell us how many children and what ages are travelling when you book, and we'll confirm exact capacity.
Does this apply to the Whistler transfer too?
Yes, exactly the same as the Vancouver transfer: a car seat or booster is included at no extra cost, installed before you arrive.
